Bearing Basement offers a 30 day “ no quibble” returns policy and will credit the cost (including VAT) of any product that is returned to us within 30 days from the date of purchase.
If Bearing Basement is at fault and our goods are on inspection faulty, damaged or incorrect we will refund you the cost of transport and also the cost of returning the item (return cost to be agreed before sending).
Refunds can only be made by the same payment method by which the product(s) were purchased.
- Product(s) and packaging are in the same “as new” condition as when dispatched
- Product(s) have not been fitted, modified or marked in any way
*Unless Bearing Basement is found to be at fault, we will not refund the cost of the transport.
Under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 SI 2013/3134 you have the legal right to cancel your order up to 14 calendar days after the day on which you receive your goods. You do not need to give us any reason for cancelling your contract nor will you have to pay any penalty.
If you decide to cancel a purchase for any reason, you must contact Bearing Basement, in writing (such as letter sent by post, fax or email) quoting the following:
- Your order number and order details
- Your name and contact details
If you have received the goods before you cancel your contract, then you must send the goods back to our contact address at your own cost and risk. If you cancel your contract but we have already processed the goods for delivery, you should not unpack the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk as soon as possible.
Once Bearing Basement has received the returned goods and is satisfied the returned goods show no signs of:
- Marks in any way
A refund will be issued accordingly for the full invoice amount. (Please note Bearing Basement will never pay or refund the cost of a returned or cancelled order unless Bearing Basement is found to be at fault)
Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right not to process your order if:
- We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
- We do not deliver to your area; or
- One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
If we do not process your order for the above reasons, we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit/debit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 14 days.
